Sunday in my city - BBR Festival

Linking with #RubyTuesdayToo and #BlueMonday

For the next 4 days, starting today, Bastille Day, 14th July through to the 17th, head to Circular Quay for tasty eats, mulled wine, champagne and French beers, to savour during daytime concerts and night time parties.

There are also cooking classes and an outdoor cinema showing French or France themed movies.

The kids played in the snow while I waited for our Canadian duck poutine we shared.

Then we browsed the delights seeking out a dessert.

There's plenty of gourmet goodies to take home, as well as bags, shoes and gifts.

Divided into three different precincts, European, French and Canadian, there's bound to be something to tempt your taste buds. So this weekend, why not celebrate all things Bleu, Blanc et Rouge?

  2. Thanks for the photos. The snow is a good idea, entertaining all the littles while we older ones can enjoy the champagne and cheese. France is 'my thing' so I held a Bastille lunch yesterday with more cheese and champagne!

  5. You have snow there? We used to take it out of the freezer on this end of the world for the Fourth of July saved up from winter. I forgot about Bastille Day but I know there's some celebrations going on around me. You can keep the croc and possum I'll take the Creme Brulee.

    1. I'm not sure - it was just there when we turned up. It was piled high so they may've poured maple syrup on it to make those sweets? It was just a sort of mashed up pile when we turned up.
