Sunday in my City - Free & Easy

Winter in Sydney means VIVID festival, and unless you've been living under a rock, there's no way you don't know the city comes alive from 6pm until 11pm in a burst of colour. It's predominately in the CBD but extends to Chatswood, Central Park and Central Station. Be quick - you only have until the 17th of June.

However, two fabulous exhibitions for day visits are up the Macquarie St end of town for the next few weeks. Every year the State Library hosts the World Press Photo Exhibition, with it's photographic excellence. At times a little disturbing, not one for the little kids. I have fallen in love with the idea of visiting Ibi on the 28th of December, but you'll need to visit the gallery to understand why - trust me, it will make you smile. You have until the 25th of June to do so.

Just over the road, in the Royal Botanic Gardens is All about Flowers, a free floral exhibition in the Calyx. It's truly delightful and you have until the 30th of July to see this display. Open from 10 until 4pm.
