Snow Time in The Gardens

Ending on the 22nd July, there's only a few days left of this year's annual family snowy fun in the quaint Hunter Valley Gardens. Your ticket gives you access to the full gardens, as well as the Snow activities - ice skating, snowman making, ice scultures and my favourite, tobogganing (it's a quicker course than previous years, we had so much fun!). There is also a '9D snow adventure' film experience thrown in with your ticket price. My tip would be to get there early or watch the queue, as there can be waits for up to an hour. With the ice skating, I'd book your spot as soon as you arrive so you know when you can skate.



You can pay extra for the rides, however, once the crowds leave around 4, you can go on them with ease, so you will get your money's worth with the wrist bands.

There's plenty of food offerings, and tables to eat at, so you can make a day of it. If you're a regular visitor, I'd turn up mid afternoon, so the crowds start to vanish and you make the most of the glorious sunsets, and the magic of the lights twinkling on the way to the exit as they close.





For us it's been an annual adventure in the July school holidays for the last four years, and according to my youngest, that's not about to stop!
