Babu Gili at the Sydney Opera House

In it's second year, every night a mini Vivid-syle light show is projected with music on the inner sail of the Sydney Opera House. A must see for the tourists in town, it only took me over 18 months to finally see it.

Every night at sunset and again at 9pm, the show lights up with First Nations art in a celebration of their culture and history. For details of the exact sunset show time each week, click here.

Head up the front steps or walk out from the Box Office, and take a spot to watch the display on the eastern Bennelong Sail.

For the locals, this is Vivid without the crowds, so bring the kids for a front row view and easy excursion to see the lights. You don't need to wait for Vivid for the white gleaming sails to come alive!
