Holidays, Hellidays and the Journeys in between....: VIVID Sydney

VIVID Sydney is a winter festival to bring people into the city and out on the streets. It is a celebration of lights, art, music and food, as well as talks on a myriad of subjects. Most of all it is a celebration the city. It showcases the harbour and the sights in a spectacular way.

The easiest way to see it all is to walk, but there are boat rides, bridge climbs and kayaking on offer.

The restuarants have special deals or dishes - these cute dumplings are from Double Chin and were only $7.50 for the soupy delights.

There are food trucks all over the place, for people that don't want to linger. There are DJs and music in the streets.

If you are visiting Sydney in Winter, this is the time to come!

If you live in Sydney, get out and enjoy it!
