Le Flon - Lausanne for le flaneur

The charming city of Lausanne is made up of districts, each profoundly different from each other. The old town, the lakeside castles, and bridging the two is the funky modern warehouse district, Le Flon.

Rejuvenated into an entertainment quarter, it glitters at night, lit up and bustling with restaurants and bars, live music and even at times, an outdoor ice rink. It's well worth a visit, even if just for a stroll.

Between two well preserved pieces of history, the contrast of vibrant experimentation delights. There are markets, art abounds and the ease of a pedestrian concourse makes it an alluring location day or night.

Check here for the details of what's happening at Le Flon.

Sometimes it's the contrasts and differences that make a place memorable.
