Cartoon Street or Zaemiro in Seoul

We stayed close by for our morning in Seoul so first thing was the short walk through Cartoon Street.

Described in detail here, it was pointed out on our map by the concierge and only took a 5 minute walk to get there.

It's one of those places where the more you look, the more you see until you see the images everywhere. On the ground, in garages, up high....

It didn't take us long, maybe only 15 -20 minutes so an easy & joyful modern sightseeing exprience in Seoul. You could then continue up to the cablecar or uber off elsewhere (which we did with our limited time). Or take the sort walk back to the Myeongdong Station.

Practicalities:

Cartoon Street

Zaemiro

  4. Such a cute little street. I was stationed at Camp Eagle over thirty years ago and wish I'd taken photos to document my time there. Honestly, I was too busy having fun. LOL

  6. What fun and very kawaii (do they call it that in Korea as well, I wonder, as the term has become so international)!
