While much is said of the iconic Supertrees, people speak less of what is inside the domes, and the Cloud Dome is my favourite, so here is a peek of what you see.
All minutes from the city centre.
However, it's the wonderful array of plants and flowers that is really why you visit, and the orchids are glorious. The Vanda Miss Joaquim, or Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim is the national flower of Singapore but the array of variations of orchids on display is comprehensive.
There are sculptures in addition to the flora so there really is something for everyone, young and old alike.
You can get discounted tickets for both Domes (the Flower Dome and the Cloud Dome) through Pelago (with Scoot or Singapore Airlines flights*), or if only choosing one, the Cloud Dome is my recommendation. There are plenty of flowers to see but so much more. (*Note this was the case on trips when I flew Singapore airlines and Scoot. Offers may change.)
The cloud dome looks etherial. I bet it smells great inside.
