"Blossom by blossom the Spring begins". Algernon Charles Swinburne; The David Jones Spring Flower Show

The David Jones Spring Flower Show has historically marked the start of Spring, and it's back this year and as gorgeous as ever!

Running from the 10 -20th September this year, be enveloped by the enchanting aroma of flowers from around the world, along with those locally sourced where possible.

There are free tours running on the weekend every 30 mins, and guests are treated to a delicious free Sunshine Daisy vanilla-butter cookie.

Or it is equally delightful just to wander around the beauty on your own, accompanied by the piano tunes coming from the resident baby Grand Piano.

Make a day of it with lunch at the Wok Bar or elevate the experience with some sashimi and champagne or oysters at the David Jones Champagne and Oyster Bar (bookings can be made here) or book High Tea at the upstairs Cafe. If in more of a hurry or with kids in tow, head to the food hall for old favourites and new - there's something for everyone!
